Our Fees

Physiotherapy treatment for injuries from accidents is still funded by ACC.  However, in November 2009, ACC reduced the level of funding and physiotherapists now need to charge a co-payment to help meet the costs of your treatment.  You can still go directly to a physiotherapist for treatment, or you may be referred by your GP, a specialist or your employer.

Payment is required on the day of treatment unless otherwise arranged.  Appointments not cancelled at least four hours before the scheduled time will incur a $50 charge.

ACC-covered injuries

Per visit:                               $16

There may also be a small charge for materials (e.g. strapping, acupuncture needles).

Private

First visit:                          $65
Follow-up visits:               $55 per visit

Plus any charges for materials (as above).

For conditions not covered by ACC but funded by public health, a referral from a hospital or doctor is essential.
